![]() ![]() That being said, It's a good game, but if you haven't gotten into this series yet I'd stay away until you can get the entire franchise heavily discounted, as buying TWW3 without any of the previous content would feel like a really hollow game. Access to the chaos dwarf army (which is present in the base game) costs almost what I think would be fair for this entire 3rd instalment! ![]() Not only that, but this glorified DLC, has DLC which is hideously overpriced. Same units, same mechanics, same loading screen art. I started a Lizardman campaign and it's literally exactly the same. 1 genuine new faction, and the other 2 are just fleshed out factions already in TWW2.Ĥ) some balance tweaks (to magic and some unit stat) Here's basically what you get for your full priced TWW3:Ģ) A new campaign mode (as we got in 1 and 2)ģ) 3 new factions. But the Vortex map is in a lot of ways the tutorial map, so if youre just starting. That also unlocks all of the playable Warhammer I factions in Warhammer II - they only appear on the Mortal Empires map, not on the Vortex map. ![]() When 2 came out, it felt like an upgrade over 1, with substancial changes to the maps, engine armies and cities. The way you get Mortal Empires is that if you own both Warhammer I and Warhammer II, you get Mortal Empires for free. The reason for my negative review is that TWW3 is really just a very expensive DLC for TWW2. I'm going to do something I rarely do and give this game a negative review even though I like it and will continue to play it. ![]()
